Create A Fantastic Day

Image by Aleksandra P.When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, it is easy to allow a bad mood to creep in, and that bad mood has a way of spiraling and affecting your life for several days. In the same way, if you feel bad about yourself, you tend to act in ways that have repercussions, again creating a negative vibe that can negatively influence several days.

Albeit is important that you allow yourself to feel, it is your thoughts that create your feelings. Feelings follow thoughts. Thoughts precede feelings. What are you thinking about? What is your self-talk? What are you telling yourself? To be genuine, you do not need to completely surrender to a dark mood or self-doubt. In fact, the more you simply allow and accept your dark thoughts, the more easily you can also allow and accept your light and positive thoughts. In this respect, you can change the ‘bad’ mood with an injection of the other truth-championing your strengths, courage, self-worth and self-esteem.

If you hear your self-talk is negative, take a moment to acknowledge it. At the same time, recognize that you have strength, courage, self-worth and empowerment, etc. Remind yourself to focus on that truth. This is a great way to support yourself when you are working through tough experiences and difficult feelings.

When you visualize all your great attributes, you are sending yourself love and nurturing support, as well as encouraging yourself to keep going.

Every morning before you get out of bed, take a few moments to champion yourself. As you visualize your day, take the time to fill in the details-where you are going, whom you will see, what you will do-and send love and good wishes ahead to yourself, as well as everyone you will encounter. If you visualize your day moving as you desire it is like arriving in a place that is already in motion and finding that the process is moving smoothly.
